Safety Program

Yantis Company believes in taking a very proactive approach to safety. As part of this program, Yantis employs a full-time safety officer that reports directly to the President of the company. Yantis also utilizes the services of three independent consultants that inspect Yantis jobsites on a weekly basis and report directly back to the President of Yantis Company on their findings. The main focus of our program is that we truly believe no accidents are acceptable. Our goal is to have a complete injury free workplace.

Weekly Management Meeting
Yantis Company’s management is directly hands on regarding the safety program. Each week, Yantis Company’s safety team meets with executive management to discuss all inspections. All accidents, safety violations, or injuries are required to appear before this committee the week of their incident to discuss the issue that occurred and explore “lessons learned.”
Inspections
Yantis Company’s safety officer inspects six projects each day for compliance with the company’s safety policies. Complete OSHA style inspections are performed on each project and the findings are sent each night to the Executive Team to review. In addition, our three independent consultants visit five random job sites per week.
Training
Yantis Company maintains a safety website where a database is located showing all training attended by each employee of Yantis as well as any training deficiencies that need to be remedied.
Yantis Company requires that all foremen, superintendents, and project managers have OSHA 10 hour certification.
Training standards are maintained for each foreman and employee of Yantis Company depending on the type of work performed. If training certification expires, the employee is not allowed to work on a Yantis Company jobsite until completed.
Yantis Company maintains a zero tolerance policy related to suspected drug or alcohol use at a Yantis Company jobsite.
