In February of 2008, Yantis Company completed the $1.6 million dollar Slick Creek Ranch Drainage project for the City of San Antonio. This project was built to reduce peak discharges downstream of Loop 410. The job called for 100,000 cy of export from the raw drainage channel and concrete work to stabilize the Military Drive bridge.
The project was highly touted by the City of San Antonio, as it eliminated more than 200 homes from the flood plain.
