In September 2014, Yantis Company was awarded the mass grading and utilities contract for Dollar General’s new distribution center. Located just south of IH-10 on Foster Road, the site spans over 100 acres. The project was designed by Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam (LAN). Yantis is working directly for Dollar General on this project.

Yantis’ contract includes: 370,000 cy of excavation; over 496,000 cy of embankment; 275,000 cy of cement treated pad; 210,000 sy of 12” cement treated subgrade. Yantis installed over 30,000 lf of storm drain, sewer, and water pipe as well as the dry electric package.

The construction of the 1 million square foot pad began 9/2/14 and was completed on 12/5/14, 10 days ahead of schedule.
