This project extended Shaenfield Road from 1604 East into a new portion of Terry Oak Road, where a bridge was then constructed over Helotes Creek. Councilman Ray Lopez stated, “The Shaenfield Road project is an excellent example of private and public enterprises working together to benefit residents.”

Yantis Company, as part of its contract, put down over 4,000 tons of asphalt and 13,000 tons of flexible base. Yantis also built an offsite sewer main over 6,000 lf in length.

Despite weather challenges, Yantis was able to open the road on time for the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year.
